Created by Captain Tsukigami to emulate the behaviors of alien hostiles; this mission helps you perfect your skills, while providing some intense first-person shooter action.

Moon Chronicles runs at 60 frames-per-second in both stereoscopic 3D and 2D-modes while it has also received upgraded geometry and other graphical details. The game will also take advantage of the Circle Pad Pro(XL) for dual-stick controls.

The download code that will be provided here is only Episode 1: $8.99 (contains chapters 1 – 4 + 6 VR Missions: ~4 hours of gameplay).

Moon Chronicles shows a lot of promise, and it’s an undeniably unique experience on 3DS. But while wholly entertaining, its first episode is short, and devoid of any truly compelling reason to return to the game’s unique setting. There are lots of upsides to this title, especially with Renegade Kid’s announcement of a second season featuring entirely new content, but as it stands Moon Chronicles doesn’t quite live up to its lofty potential.
